BaltScand Oy is the official Provost partner in Finland and the Baltics, supplying and installing industrial shelving and storage systems end to end: layout design, delivery, turnkey installation and inspection.
Provost has manufactured storage and handling equipment in Europe since 1963. Our range covers light-duty Prospace+ shelving, semi-heavy Prorack+, Propal 3 pallet racking, Cantipro cantilever racks and Proplus LP3 mezzanine platforms for warehouses, logistics centres, workshops, shipyards and retail.
A Finnish partner for industrial storage, from drawing to installed system
BaltScand Oy has worked on Finland’s industrial sites since 2016. We started in scaffolding for shipyards and heavy construction, and today employ over 100 professionals across scaffolding, storage systems, and accounting and payroll services. Everything we do rests on the same thing: we handle the work on the ground in Finland, so our clients do not have to build a local organisation to get a project done.
Provost storage systems in Finland and the Baltics
We are the official Provost partner for this region. Provost has designed and manufactured storage and handling equipment since 1963, from six production plants in France, Poland, Germany and Portugal, serving 80,000 customers across Europe. Five of its product lines carry the Origine France Garantie label.
We deliver the full range:
- Prospace+ and Modul+ — light-duty shelving for archives, spare parts stores, offices and retail
- Prorack+ — semi-heavy racking for manual storage of bulky items in workshops and service areas
- Propal 3 — pallet racking for warehouses and logistics centres
- Cantipro — cantilever racks for long loads: timber, pipe, profile, sheet
- Proplus LP3 — engineered mezzanine platforms that add a floor inside an existing building
Turnkey means what it says. We survey the space, design the layout and load cases, supply the system, install it with our own crews, and hand over the documentation and inspection you need to put it into service.
Our stand is the product
Stand 26107 in Hall 7 is a two-storey structure built on a Proplus LP3 platform. Rather than showing you a mezzanine in a catalogue, we invite you to walk up the stairs onto one, stand on the deck, and see the finish and the structure up close. It is the same system we would install in your warehouse. Bring your floor plan and we will talk through what fits.
What else we do
Industrial scaffolding. Design, installation, inspection and dismantling for shipyards, energy sector projects, manufacturing plants and heavy construction. This is where the company started and where our installation discipline comes from.
Accounting and payroll. Finnish accounting, payroll processing and reporting for companies operating in Finland, handled in Finnish, English and Russian. Useful in particular for Baltic and other foreign contractors setting up Finnish operations who need the compliance side handled correctly from day one.
