Perustava brings momentum to small-scale construction sites – new eKivi innovation unveiled
The FinnBuild is a meeting place for professionals, which is why Perustava is attending with its full lineup to provide solutions for the shifting needs of construction companies.
At this year's fair, Perustava will be highlighting its new business unit, established last year, which serves the needs of energy construction and other critical infrastructure. Visitors of the exhibition stand can explore how Perustava helps in the implementation of electrical substations, energy storage facilities, civil defense shelters, and other concrete structures.
Perustava's CEO Sampo Jäntti points out that, especially in a shifting market situation, it is important to be where the customers are.
"FinnBuild is a trade fair for professionals, and since we are also professionals, we want to be there. We don't see this fair as a place to hand out candies, but we will be there with a full team, offering our services to the needs of construction companies. I would like to welcome our partners and customers to visit our stand", says Jäntti.
The importance of critical infrastructure and industry has been emphasized as the geopolitical situation has become more tense, and Perustava has responded to this by expanding its service offering.
"The market situation for new construction has been difficult for a long time, but we have been able to find new segments in critical infrastructure and industry. We don't want to just generate revenue, we are thinking a lot about profitable growth", Sampo Jäntti explains the company's direction.
In these projects, Perustava offers its customers not only traditional foundation and groundwork services but also more comprehensive solutions.
"In critical infrastructure projects, our service offering is slightly broader, as in addition to foundation and groundwork, we also offer project management construction services and other installation work. Of course, this depends entirely on the client's level of expertise in the field. We just want to make things easy for the customer", Jäntti continues.

Perustava eKivi on display
In the residential construction sector, Perustava is bringing its new Perustava eKivi product to the fair, which has been developed to bring speed and efficiency to small house construction. It is a factory-made foundation that is installed directly on the construction site.
"Of course, we want to maintain our good reputation and market share among small house builders, which is why we have launched the new Perustava eKivi product. It speeds up small house construction, as it is a foundation that is manufactured in a factory and installed on site", says the CEO.
Although the company has found new business segments, small house builders and house suppliers remain important partners, whose needs Perustava meets by anticipating trends in housing and birth rates.
Founded in 2007, the company has expanded its expertise from its roots in Orimattila to four different business segments: homes, facilities, critical infrastructure, and industry. Each of these segments has its own team of professionals serving customers, ensuring expert service for all early-stage construction needs. Soil surveys, earthworks, piling, foundations, and concrete elements form a comprehensive package that professionals in the field seek at the FinnBuild trade fair.
Headquartered in Lahti, the company aims to be the most sought-after partner in the early stages of construction and the most inspiring workplace in the industry. The company's values and goals are summed up in its desire to build a sustainable society.
"If we had to sum up everything we do, we are the foundation of Finland and we provide sustainable building blocks for homes and society", says Jäntti, summarizing the company's vision.
The stand offers visitors the opportunity to see how traditional foundation construction is combined with modern efficiency and the energy infrastructure solutions required by the green transition.
