LAB University of Applied Sciences is a higher education institution operating in Lahti, Lappeenranta and online. Civil engineers play a key role in creating and developing a sustainable and healthy built environment. The construction value chain covers design, construction, and usage. The built environment enables the well-being and development of individuals and communities.LAB's degree programmes in this field include Construction Site Management, Sustainable Urban Planning, Wood Technology, Civil Engineering, and the English-taught Sustainable Construction Technology. Starting in autumn 2027, the last programme will be delivered for the first two years at the Lahti campus in collaboration with LUT University's new Civil Engineering programme.
