LVI-Pörssi invites construction professionals to the industry's "candy store" at FinnBuild
One of the most eagerly awaited meeting places at the FinnBuild trade fair is the LVI-Pörssi stand, which combines Pohjalainen (Ostrobothnian) honesty with the latest innovations in the HVAC sector.
The highlight of the FinnBuild trade fair in autumn 2026 will be LVI-Pörssi's own product development, a leak detector that directly meets building code requirements and helps in the early detection of water leaks. Visitors to the fair will experience an exceptional energy at the stand, as the entire company's expert team will be present, along with skiing legend Juha "Mietaa" Mieto as the face of the brand. The giant of Kurikka and the staff dressed in Jussi costumes will ensure that this stand will remain in the memory of every professional. Marketing Manager Heidi Simola warmly welcomes everyone to come and see the hottest attraction at the fair.
"Even though we now have employees other than Pohjalaisia (Ostrobothnians) working at Pörssi, we always do our work honestly, as a team and with enthusiasm. Over the course of more than 40 years, LVI-Pörssi has developed from a traditional operator into a nationwide manufacturer, importer, and product developer. CEO Samuli Kuusio emphasizes that growth and new product innovations arise directly from customer needs.
"You could say that every time a plumber tells us about one of his acquaintances, he is also telling us what kind of products we should develop. We either look for the product on the existing market or manufacture it ourselves", Kuusio explains the company's operating method.
The leak detector presented at the fair is an excellent example of this, as its elastic plastic leak funnel is easy to cut to the right size and is airtight without the need for separate sealing compounds.
Put on your Jussi costume and head to the trade fair
A sense of pride in their roots is LVI-Pörssi's secret weapon, which they use to convey reliability and integrity in everything they do. Although the company now operates on the international stage, its roots are firmly in Kurikka, from where logistics are efficiently managed along Finnish national road 3 (Kolmostie). CEO Kuusio sees trade fairs as an important place for creating new customer relationships and showcasing the company's culture.
"We want to use our Pohjalainen (Ostrobothnian) roots to convey that we are reliable and straightforward. It's always nervous-making to put on a Jussi costume and carry a knife in our sheath, but we want to stay in our customers' minds, which is why we are here", Kuusio continues.
He also reminds us of the importance of humor in the industry.
"I consider 2018 to be the official start of my era and the current era. Since then, we have also set out to develop our corporate culture even more strongly. At our company, working can be fun! At least there is no wireless water coming yet, so we strive to develop HVAC products to meet the needs of the industry and our customers."
LVI-Pörssi's selection of over 2,200 items and its own manufacturing ensure that every professional can find the solutions they need.
